MEDIUM SULPHUER CRESTED COCKATOO Cookie
Sometimes it is hard to tell one cockatoo species from another unless you see them side by side. You can see three cockatoos here (more photos will be added of additional species)
DUCORPS- They are similiar in size to the Goffins, Bare Eyed and Red Vented Cockatoos. They have no color in their face or under their crest and the body feathers are all white. The eye ring (circle of skin around the) eye is a little bigger then the Goffins and smaller then the Bare Eyed. They tend to raise their crest alot. Kind of reminds me of the wind flap on the cab of an 18 wheeler... LOL
GOFFINS- Has a peachy color to the head- around the beak and under the crest area. Small eye ring then the other short birds.
MEDIUM AND LESSERS- They both have yellow crests, unlike the other short white birds who have either all white or white with a hint of salmon color. They also have a dark beak (the DURCORPS, RED VENT and GOFFINS all have white beaks).
